Our challenge

As a Regression Tester, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated and manual test cases to validate the stability and functionality of our banking applications. Your expertise in AI, GenAI, Java, Playwright, Selenium, and Javascript will be essential in creating robust test frameworks and ensuring seamless integration of new features with existing systems.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Toronto, ON is CAD $110K - CAD $120K/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, Playwright, and Javascript.

- Conduct regression testing to identify and document defects, ensuring the quality of releases.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand new features and existing functionalities.

- Integrate testing frameworks with AI and GenAI models to enhance testing capabilities.

- Execute test plans, analyze results, and report on testing progress and quality metrics.

- Identify, document, and track bugs and issues for resolution.

- Continuously improve testing processes and automation strategies.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in regression testing and test automation.

- Strong programming skills in Python and Javascript.

- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium and Playwright.

- Knowledge of AI and GenAI technologies and their application in testing.

- Familiarity with banking domain processes and compliance standards.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred skills:

- Experience with other automation tools and frameworks.

- Certification in Testing.

- Knowledge of cloud platforms and containerization.
