Description
We are hiring a Development Lead who combines credible software engineering or architecture depth with leadership and delivery ownership. The successful candidate will stay close to technical decisions, guide initiatives, and help lead a growing organization. This is not a project-management-only or administration-only position.
A Typical Day In The Life Includes
- Guide architecture, design, or coding decisions based on the candidate's strongest technical lane.
- Lead delivery initiatives and help teams meet meaningful milestones.
- Translate technical choices for stakeholders with varied backgrounds.
- Coach team members and create an approachable working environment.
- Ask informed questions, explore unfamiliar areas, and make sound trade-offs.
- Partner across the organization and contribute to the role's growth.
Basic Qualifications
- Demonstrated technical depth in software engineering or high-level architecture.
- Experience working with Java and AWS, or Java with relevant transferable cloud experience.
- Experience leading people, technical work, or delivery initiatives.
- Evidence of direct involvement in architecture, design, or product technical decisions.
- Ability to explain technical contributions, decisions, trade-offs, and outcomes clearly.
- Demonstrated curiosity and motivation for the role.
Preferred Qualifications
- Current or previous Team Lead, Engineering Lead, Development Lead, Engineering Manager, or technical architecture role.
- AWS depth in a production environment.
- Experience balancing technical leadership with initiative delivery.
- Experience in a growing team or organization.
