Maintenance Mechanic
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and repairing industrial equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety in our operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct preventive maintenance on various industrial equipment and electrical machinery
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Perform routine inspections to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety protocols
- Execute machinery repair tasks and ensure equipment is functioning properly
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals to assist in maintenance and repairs
- Install new equipment and systems as required
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work
- Collaborate with other team members to enhance overall equipment efficiency
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a related field preferred
- Proven experience in preventive maintenance and machinery repair
- Strong knowledge of industrial equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems
- Basic welding and fabrication skills are a plus
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical documents
- Knowledge of safety protocols and practices in an industrial environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
