Director, Data Science – AI Product & Risk

Help define how AI is built and scaled in real-world products. In this role, you will lead the strategy, governance and delivery of AI across Enterprise Digital Product, ensuring solutions are reliable, measurable and responsibly deployed.
What you’ll do
- Set AI product strategy, prioritization and performance metrics
- Establish responsible AI standards across data, evaluation and governance
- Standardize delivery from development to production (MLOps/LLMOps)
- Lead risk frameworks for testing, launch and monitoring
- Partner with product, engineering, legal and compliance teams
- Oversee AI monitoring, incident response and continuous improvement
- Build and lead a high-performing data science team
What you’ll bring
- Experience leading data science or ML teams in a product environment
- Strong understanding of ML, generative AI and lifecycle management
- Experience with responsible AI and governance practices
- Proven ability to partner cross-functionally and deliver business impact
Required qualifications
- 5+ years with NLP/LLM pipelines and data strategy
- Experience aligning product delivery with risk and regulatory needs
- Background in AI safety, governance or incident response
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead distributed teams
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
