The Engineering Manager will serve as the technical bridge between Architects, Product Owners, Development Teams, QA, DevOps, and Senior Leadership, ensuring business objectives are translated into scalable and sustainable technical solutions.

The ideal candidate combines deep software engineering expertise with strong people leadership capabilities and is comfortable challenging technical assumptions, driving technical roadmaps, and influencing architecture decisions.

- Drive technical decision-making and ensure architectural choices align with product strategy and long-term business objectives.

- Lead technical roadmap definition and execution.

- Guide teams in adopting engineering best practices, coding standards, design patterns, and modern development methodologies.

Engineering Leadership

- Lead and manage cross-functional software engineering teams including Developers, QA Engineers, DevOps Engineers, Technical Leads, and Contractors.

- Mentor Technical Leads and Senior Developers on architecture, design, and engineering excellence.

- Drive engineering effectiveness through metrics and data-driven decision making.

Product & Delivery Ownership

- Collaborate closely with Product Owners to translate business goals into technical solutions.

- Break product roadmaps into technical epics, features, and user stories.

- Ensure user stories are technically sound, properly estimated, and aligned with architectural principles.

- Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, PI planning, and prioritization activities.

- Drive predictable delivery without compromising technical quality.

Stakeholder Management

- Act as the primary technical escalation point for complex solution and delivery challenges.

- Influence and collaborate with Architects, Product Management, Engineering Leadership, and other stakeholders.

- Communicate technical strategies, risks, dependencies, and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Build alignment across globally distributed teams.

Technology & Innovation

- Stay current with emerging technologies, AI-assisted development, cloud-native architectures, and modern engineering practices.

- Drive adoption of automation, DevOps, observability, and AI engineering tools including GitHub Copilot.
