Responsibilities
- Research and design the algorithms in computer vision including human motion tracking / motion event detection, object tracking / recognition, face tracking and recognition, etc.
- Responsible for algorithm implementation and optimization, related software / SDK development.
- Perform independent R&D works including literature study, open source code search,invention patent drafting and paper publication.
Candidate Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must hold a Hong Kong Identity Card or other valid documentation allowing legal work in Hong Kong
- Must be a full-time university student in Hong Kong
- Priority given to PhD or MPhil candidates, but Bachelor's degree and above in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Engineering or related disciplines are also welcome
- Interest in CPU multiprocessing / multi threading or GPU Programming (e.g., OpenCL, CUDA, METAL)
- Basic programming skills in C++ or Python
- Familiarity with Vision / Image Library (OpenCV, OpenNI2, etc.) is a plus
- Basic knowledge in HTML5 / C# / Java / iOS / Android / SQL / node.js is a plus
- Interest in distributed systems / Cloud platforms (AWS, Alicloud, etc.) is a plus
- Strong mathematical background and good academic presentation skills
- Good project communication skills
- Potential talent will be considered for development
- Bilingual in English, Mandarin, or Cantonese Written English capability is required
