About the job:
The Business Development Executive (BDE) role is an experienced, aggressive sales professional; the main responsibility includes sourcing and selling new business for Sogeti, part of Capgemini. You will cultivate and grow partnerships with clients to support them in advancing their programs. You will work cross-functionally with stakeholders and negotiate with clients to drive projects forward leveraging our services
Candidates must be based in the Austin, TX or San Antonio, TX area and be open to traveling throughout the Austin and San Antonio areas for client engagements.
What you will do at Sogeti:
The Business Development Executive is responsible for ongoing client management and development of new opportunities for mid-market clients in Austin and San Antonio.
Specific responsibilities shall include:
- Being responsible for the development and annual growth of client portfolios
- Development and successful execution of go-to-market strategies for clients
- Developing client intimacy enabling delivery of proactive propositions
- Coordinate marketing, sales, delivery, and subject matter expertise capabilities required to grow the wallet share for clients
- Grow assigned accounts, adhering to assigned revenue and contribution margin guidelines.
- Work with practices and business lines to develop and drive service offerings and campaigns to develop new business
- Oversight of project teams working on accounts, and accountable for overall account success
- Develop and maintain executive-level client strategies
- Engage with industry leaders, technical teams and alliances to evaluate joint propositions
- Should have a CXO rolodex and be able to position Sogeti/Capgemini’s Go-To-Market offers to secure net-new logos and expand existing client portfolios
- High level of personal and professional integrity
- Consistent year-over-year track record of successfully exceeding sales quota (at least $7M every year, for the last 3 years)
- Should have successful sales excellence track record (President’s Club Award or similar)
What you will bring:
- 10+ years’ experience in business development roles selling IT solutions and services (having experience with Healthcare domain preferred)
- Experience with the consultative sales approach in analyzing challenges of potential clients and conveying ROI and TCO concepts to CXO level management
- Proven track record of sales showing annual incremental growth and profitably
- Ability to shape go-to-market and account penetration strategies
- Proven ability to leverage and explore wider partnerships to drive growth and create value for clients with a strong C- level network.
- Experience with Sales pipeline reporting, forecasting and related CRM tools
- Understanding technological trends (with AI first approach) and adopting them to meet clients’ needs and business goals.
- Understanding of working in a Global delivery model
Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.

Capgemini discloses salary range information in compliance with state and local pay transparency obligations. At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is $145,000 - $170,000.
This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
