Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our TMS team in this Part Time position. In this vital role, you will provide expert psychiatric evaluations, recommend TMS treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based mental health care to diverse patient populations. Your expertise will help improve mental health outcomes, promote recovery, and support overall well-being across outpatient settings. Responsibilities

- TMS & Clinical Care: Perform psychiatric evaluations, intake assessments, and motor threshold determinations (cortical mapping) for TMS treatment.

- Treatment Management: Oversee and manage the treatment plan for patients with Major Depressive Disorder (MDD).

- Documentation & Compliance: Maintain timely, accurate clinical notes in the EMR system and adhere to TMS of the Carolinas and NeuroStar’s safety protocols.

- Team Collaboration: Work with psychiatrists, clinical staff, and technicians to monitor patient progress and ensure high-quality care.

- Patient Education: Guide patients through the TMS of the Carolinas and NeuroStar process, setting expectations, and ensuring a safe, supportive environment.

Qualifications & Skills

- Licensure: Active Nurse Practitioner license with no restrictions.

- Certification: Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) board certification.

- Experience: Previous experience in outpatient psychiatry is typically preferred; experience with TMS or neurostimulation is a plus, but not required.

- Experience with EMR/EHR systems and patient management.

- Evaluations: Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations related to mental health conditions.

- Communication: Excellent communication related to patient care.
