We’re Hiring: Senior Java Developer – Liquidity Data Platform

My client is a leading global digital-asset exchange providing sophisticated spot, derivatives, and decentralized-finance products to users worldwide.
They are seeking a Senior Java Engineer to help develop and enhance the data platform supporting their liquidity and quantitative trading platform.
This is not a generic data-engineering position. The successful candidate will work closely with traders, quantitative researchers, and quantitative developers, building high-frequency market-data pipelines, real-time analytics solutions, and historical data services that support systematic trading initiatives.
What You’ll Do
- Develop large-scale data platform focused on market data and desk trading data
- Develop scalable pipelines and services for intraday, tick, and order-book data
- Own data workflows covering capture, cleansing, monitoring, warehousing, analysis, and API delivery
- Analyse, model, and visualize large and complex datasets
- Partner closely with traders, quantitative researchers, and quantitative developers
Core Requirements
- Strong academic background in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or another STEM discipline
- Strong programming experience with Java
- Solid experience working with market data / trading data
- Strong understanding of data architecture, pipelines, and services
- Experience working within a Linux environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Mandarin language proficiency
Good to Have
- Experience within crypto, financial markets, systematic trading, or high-frequency trading
- Experience handling intraday, tick, or order-book data
- Knowledge of Kafka, Spark, or PySpark
- Experience with data warehouses or data lakes
- Familiarity with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Data-analysis experience using Pandas, Arrow, or Polars
- Experience capturing and analysing on-chain data
- Programming knowledge of Rust or C++
