The Information (INFO) Division focuses on capabilities and technologies that enable MINDEF / SAF to harness and exploit information in the physical battlefield and cyberspace. Capability areas include cybersecurity, cryptography, data analysis and fusion, artificial intelligence, vulnerabilities assessments and operations analysis. INFO Software Laboratory provides expertise in developing software systems for Data Fusion, Big Data Analytics, AI/ML, C2 and Simulation. We also provide a knowledge base for full-stack software systems development software engineering processes and software methodologies.

Artificial Intelligence Research Engineer
In This Role, You Will
- Conduct research into state-of-the-art algorithms and techniques in adversarial AI and AI security to advance robustness, security and trustworthiness of AI model/system.
- Possess good technical knowledge and strong understanding of Machine Learning, Cyber Security, Adversarial AI and AI assurance to bridge the gap between AI innovations and secured AI system engineering and deployment.
- Develop AI/ML techniques and tools to detect, assess and secure AI systems against malicious and emergent attacks and threats.
- Work with software engineers and stakeholders across entire AI lifecycle, from threat modelling and red teaming to delivering secured AI model/system.
Job Requirements
- Master / Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering / Computer Science / Data Analytics / Artificial Intelligence / Mathematics / Electrical & Electronics Engineering / Data Analytics
- Proficient in Python programming and familiarity with Python AI frameworks.
- Experience in AI/ ML research and development, Agentic AI and adversarial AI techniques and tools
