Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of residential, commercial, and outdoor areas to identify pest infestations and potential vulnerabilities
- Apply pest control treatments using appropriate tools, chemicals, and equipment following safety protocols
- Develop customized pest management plans tailored to each client’s needs and property specifics
- Maintain detailed records of treatments performed, chemicals used, and client interactions for compliance and follow-up
- Educate clients on pest prevention methods, including landscaping tips, lawn care practices, and maintenance routines
- Operate hand tools, power tools, farm machinery, and other equipment safely and efficiently during service visits
- Drive company vehicle to various job sites while adhering to all traffic laws and safety standards
Requirements
- Prior experience or knowledge in pest control, lawn care, farming, landscaping or agriculture is highly desirable
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, farm machinery, and other equipment safely and effectively
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; comfortable driving long distances as needed
- Strong physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform outdoor work in various weather conditions
- Excellent communication skills to explain procedures clearly and professionally to clients
- Willingness to learn about new pest control techniques and stay current with industry regulations
- Basic understanding of sales principles is a plus for promoting additional services or products
