About the role
With over 150 US accounts currently managed by our US Expansion Sales team, we will utilize a team-selling model to leverage our deep-rooted relationships with US-based decision-makers. This coordinated approach ensures we
capitalize on existing trust to accelerate revenue growth within our Mexico operations.
- US Expansion accounts will each be assigned to a MX Expansion AE. We will leverage a territory-based account assignment system to maximize our AEs time based upon their physical location. Account assignments can be found
here.
- We will implement a shared incentive strategy to compensate both the US Expansion AE and MX Expansion AE for northbound and southbound cross-border services. Drive new revenue opportunities connected to US-Mexico cross-border operations.
- Expand Uber Freight's footprint within US consignee and multinational customer networks.
- Develop strategic relationships with US-based procurement, logistics and supply chain stakeholders.
- Sell integrated cross-border solutions including:
- Customs Brokerage
- Cross-Border Transportation
- NB Distribution
- Warehousing
- Pooling
- Intermodal
- Managed Transportation
- Coordinate joint MX-US commercial strategies with US sales teams.
What the candidate will do
- Identify and close cross-border expansion opportunities.
- Develop relationships with US-based decision makers.
- Collaborate with US commercial teams to align account strategy.
- Coordinate with Customs, Operations and Product teams to design integrated solutions.
- Deliver executive-level commercial presentations.
- Develop value propositions focused on:
- risk reduction
- accountability
- visibility
- operational integration
- Increase revenue generated from US-linked businesses.
- Support strategic initiatives related to nearshoring and automotive growth.
- Maintain Salesforce opportunity accuracy and pipeline visibility.
- Drive strategic customer workshops and QBRs.
Basic Qualifications
- 10+ years in cross-border logistics, customs or transportation industries.
- 10+ years in strategic sales or multinational account management.
- Experience with US-Mexico logistics operations preferred.
- Experience managing multinational customer relationships preferred.
- Strong knowledge of US-Mexico cross-border logistics.
- Knowledge of customs brokerage and transportation operations.
- Understanding of US consignee distribution models.
- Knowledge of NB distribution and warehousing operations.
- Strong commercial understanding of multinational customer structures.
- Salesforce CRM expertise.
- Understanding of cross-border operational risks and supply chain requirements.
- Ability to develop executive-level business cases.
