A Day in the Life

Join a global leader in medical technology and healthcare solutions, where you will play a key role in supporting the adoption and successful implementation of Robotic-Assisted Surgery (RAS) systems. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced medical device professional to combine technical expertise, clinical support, and customer engagement while working with cutting-edge surgical technologies that improve patient outcomes.
This position is based in Budapest, Hungary, with approximately 60-70% travel across the region.
You will work closely with surgeons, clinical teams, hospital stakeholders, and internal commercial partners to drive the successful deployment, training, and utilization of robotic surgical solutions.
As a Technical Consultant, you will serve as the key technical and clinical expert supporting Robotic-Assisted Surgery solutions throughout the customer journey.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with surgeons, healthcare professionals, hospital staff, and key stakeholders
- Provide technical and clinical support during product demonstrations, installations, evaluations, and customer onboarding
- Deliver on-site training, education, and procedural support to ensure safe and effective use of robotic surgery systems
- Partner closely with sales colleagues to support customer engagements and demonstrate the clinical and technical value of RAS solutions
- Provide technical consultation and application support to customers and internal teams and on-call support when required to support customer needs
- Support product launches, clinical programs, and participate in scientific, educational, and customer-facing events, including presentations and workshops
- Contribute to process improvements and share best practices to optimize clinical support and customer experience
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Clinical Engineering, or a related technical field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience within the medical device industry, preferably in operating room environments/ minimally invasive surgical procedures
- Experience supporting capital equipment, preferably in surgical, robotic, imaging, or other complex medical technology environments
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to explain complex technologies to clinical and non-clinical audiences
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating within cross-functional teams.
Fluent English and Hungarian language skills
