We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised and proactive Junior Marketing, Events & Business Support Coordinator who is ready to take the next step in their career.
This is a varied, hands-on role for someone who enjoys working with people, organising things, communicating, creating content and making sure tasks actually get completed.
You don't need to be an expert in everything. We are looking for someone with the right attitude, strong communication skills, attention to detail and a genuine willingness to learn.
About the Role
You will work closely with management, the marketing team, customers, suppliers and other stakeholders across a broad range of activities including marketing, events, customer communication, product demonstrations, documentation and business coordination.
No two days will necessarily be the same.
Your responsibilities may include:
Marketing & Content Coordination
- Assist with planning marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
- Take photos and videos at events, meetings and other activities.
- Identify interesting content opportunities and ideas.
- Gather information, photos, videos and stories and coordinate these with the marketing team.
- Help develop ideas for social media, email campaigns and promotional content.
- Research competitors, industry trends and new marketing opportunities.
- Make sure agreed marketing activities are followed through and completed.
- Coordinate marketing material, brochures, presentations and promotional resources.
Event Coordination
- Assist with planning and coordinating meetings, networking events, conferences, workshops and promotional activities.
- Communicate with venues, suppliers, speakers, sponsors and attendees.
- Manage registrations, invitations, reminders and attendee information.
- Help coordinate event schedules, run sheets and required documentation.
- Assist with setup, photography, videos and on-the-day event activities.
- Follow up with attendees, sponsors and stakeholders before and after events.
Customer & Business Support
- Answer and make phone calls to customers, leads and business contacts.
- Follow up enquiries by phone, email and SMS.
- Maintain accurate records of conversations, enquiries and follow-up activities.
- Coordinate appointments, meetings and product demonstrations.
- Build positive relationships with customers, partners and other stakeholders.
- Make sure enquiries and outstanding actions are followed through rather than forgotten.
Product Demonstrations & Support
- Learn our existing products and services.
- Conduct or assist with product demonstrations for potential customers.
- Help customers understand key product features and benefits.
- Collect customer feedback and communicate this to management and relevant teams.
- Assist with onboarding and follow-up after demonstrations.
Documentation & Administration
- Create and maintain professional business documents.
- Assist with developing policies, procedures, checklists and internal documentation.
- Prepare presentations, reports, meeting notes and training material.
- Keep documents and information organised and up to date.
- Help improve internal processes and identify areas where things can be done more efficiently.
About You
We are particularly interested in someone who is at the beginning of their career and looking for an opportunity to learn and grow.
You may be a recent graduate, someone with 1–2 years of experience, or someone looking to move into marketing, events and business coordination.
Ideally, you will have:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence speaking with people on the phone and in person.
- Strong organisational and follow-up skills.
- Good attention to detail.
- A positive and professional attitude.
- Confidence using computers and learning new software.
- An interest in marketing, social media and content creation.
- An interest in photography and video content.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- A willingness to learn new products and demonstrate them to customers.
- The confidence to ask questions, contribute ideas and take initiative.
- The ability to work independently while also being part of a team.
Experience with tools such as Canva, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, CRM systems, Microsoft Office or Google Workspace would be useful but is not essential.
What We Are Looking For
This role will suit someone who doesn't want to spend their entire day doing just one thing.
You might be organising an event in the morning, following up customers after lunch, helping with a product demonstration, taking photos or videos, preparing a document and then discussing a new marketing idea with the team.
We are looking for someone who is:
Organised. Curious. Reliable. Creative. Confident with people. And most importantly, willing to learn.
Career Development
This position is designed to provide broad exposure across:
Marketing | Events | Customer Engagement | Sales Support | Product Demonstrations | Business Operations | Documentation | Digital Content
As you develop your skills and experience, there will be opportunities to take greater ownership of projects, campaigns, events and business initiatives.
If you're looking for a role where you can build real-world experience, develop a broad range of skills and grow your career, we'd love to hear from you.
