The Role
The role of an E&I Technician you will be responsible for providing safe, reliable and responsive electrical and instrumentation maintenance across well site facilities within the Surat Basin.
Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out planned, preventative and breakdown maintenance across well site electrical and instrumentation equipment.

Fault finding, diagnostics, testing and repair of electrical, instrumentation and control systems.

Maintaining and troubleshooting field instrumentation, control systems, telemetry and associated equipment.

Performing electrical installations, modifications and maintenance in accordance with relevant standards, procedures and site requirements.

Completing routine inspections, testing and calibration of electrical and instrumentation equipment.

Responding to breakdowns and maintenance requests across the well field in a timely and professional manner.

Accurately completing maintenance records, work orders and relevant documentation.

Working closely with the maintenance and operations teams to minimise equipment downtime and maintain production reliability.

Identifying potential equipment issues and contributing to preventative maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives.

Understand and comply with HSEQ systems and processes, including Life Saving Rules.

Establish positive and productive working relationships with key stakeholders and embrace a learner mindset that seeks continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Certificate III in Electrotechnology

QLD Electrical Licence – Fitter and Mechanic

Certificate III Instrumentation
-
EEHA Certificate
-
LVR/CPR
-
High Voltage Switching Certificate
-
Open Drivers Licence
-
High Risk Work Licence – WP
Experience:
- Previous experience working on well field maintenance contracts, including preventative, corrective and breakdown maintenance of electrical and instrumentation equipment
-
Ability to work autonomously in remote field locations, with a strong focus on safety compliance, quality and client requirements.

3- 5 years’ experience in same or similar position
