- Lead and develop a small global team of technical specialists while building trusted relationships with regional teams, functional leaders, and suppliers.

What you'll need to be successful.

A bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science, or at least 10 years of equivalent relevant experience.

- At least three years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably food manufacturing, with experience in a technical, engineering, maintenance, or research and development role.

- Deep expertise in industrial equipment and processing-line design, supported by strong mechanical, electrical, controls, and automation engineering aptitude.

- Advanced knowledge of manufacturing system design, including mass flow, utilities, hygienic zoning, reliability, and risk-based design.

- Practical experience with engineering specifications, Basis of Design, Commissioning, Qualification and Verification, Start-Up Management, and validation methodologies.

- The ability to interpret, govern, and challenge P&IDs, process-flow diagrams, control documentation, equipment specifications, and engineering drawings; proficiency with AutoCAD or similar design tools is preferred.

- Experience in technology validation, pilot trials, performance benchmarking, standardisation, structured root-cause analysis, and data-driven decision-making.

- A strong understanding of Food Safety & Quality requirements, human safety and risk management, and relevant external standards such as EHEDG, 3-A, and regulatory frameworks.

- Strong business acumen, including the ability to balance technical excellence with cost, risk, schedule, lifecycle value, and operational practicality.

- Excellent communication, influencing, collaboration, and knowledge-transfer skills, with the confidence to work across functions, regions, cultures, and organisational levels.
