About High Fortitude
High Fortitude is a growing operating group that acquires and scales specialized construction and field-service businesses. Our portfolio spans fencing, outdoor living, roofing, and custom homebuilding, with brands including Discount Fence USA, Texas Fence, XPRT Outdoor, My Next Roof, and Southerly Homes.
We keep strong local brands and operating teams in place while building shared capabilities across the group—including technology and AI, marketing, analytics, finance, recruiting, and procurement.
We’re growing organically into new markets and through acquisitions, and we’re looking for someone exceptional to help us build what’s next.
The Role
We’re looking for a smart, analytical, technology-minded generalist to work directly with High Fortitude’s leadership across our portfolio.
This is not a traditional Business Analyst role.
One week you might analyze why one market is outperforming another. The next you might work with the CEO to design a feature for our internal software platform, prototype something using AI, analyze marketing performance, or research a potential acquisition.
The common thread: understand the problem, use data and technology intelligently, and help build the solution.
What You’ll Do
- AI & Technology: Help design and improve our custom operating software, automate workflows, evaluate AI tools, and increasingly build prototypes and solutions using tools such as Codex, Claude Code, Cursor, or similar platforms.
- Business Analysis: Analyze operational, financial, sales, and marketing data to identify problems, opportunities, and actionable solutions.
- Digital Marketing (~20–30%): Analyze Google Ads, SEO, local search, websites, lead generation, conversion, and customer acquisition across multiple brands and markets. Help coordinate execution with internal and external resources.
- Growth & M&A: Research new markets and potential acquisitions, assist with analysis and due diligence, and help integrate acquired businesses into High Fortitude’s technology, marketing, and operating platform.
- Problem Solving: Take loosely defined problems, figure out what matters, and drive them toward a solution.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re more interested in how you think than your exact job title.
You may have 2–4 years of experience in consulting, business analysis, operations, technology, analytics, digital marketing, a startup, or another demanding environment.
You’ll likely be a great fit if you:
- Are highly analytical, curious, and a fast learner.
- Are genuinely interested in AI and emerging technology.
- Can move comfortably between data, technology, marketing, and business problems.
- Understand the fundamentals of digital customer acquisition.
- Can work independently without needing every step defined.
- Communicate clearly and aren’t afraid to challenge assumptions.
- Prefer building and testing over endless meetings and presentations.
You do not need to be a software engineer. But we want someone excited about what AI now makes possible.
Show Us What You’ve Built
If you’ve built something with AI, we’d love to see it.
An app, automation, agent, website, dashboard, workflow, or weekend project built using Codex, Claude Code, Cursor, Replit, or another AI tool absolutely counts.
We’re more interested in what you figured out how to build than another certification on your résumé.
Why High Fortitude
You’ll work directly with leadership across multiple businesses and get unusually broad exposure to technology, AI, operations, marketing, growth, and acquisitions.
This is a role for someone who wants to learn quickly, take on increasingly difficult problems, and eventually become much more than a traditional Business Analyst.
