We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team! Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical maintenance on mixers, kneaders, pelletizers, conveyors, pumps, and auxiliary equipment
- Troubleshoot electrical systems including motors, sensors, relays, VFD’s, and control panels
- Assist with PLC diagnostics including I/O checks, fault tracing, and basic ladder logic interpretation
- Conduct preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life
- Fabricate and repair components using cutting tools, grinders, and metalworking equipment
- Perform welding tasks including MIG, TIG, Stick, and torch cutting for equipment repair and fabrication
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals
- Respond to equipment breakdowns quickly to restore production and minimize downtime
- Collaborate with production teams to identify recurring issues and implement long term solutions
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs including repairs, parts usage, and downtime tracking
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures such as lockout/tagout, PPE, and chemical handling
Experience
- 2 + years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience
- Strong general machine knowledge and mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Working electrical troubleshooting ability (motors, controls, sensors, VFD’s)
- Basic to intermediate PLC knowledge (fault finding, I/O verification, ladder logic familiarity)
- Skilled in fabrication, metal repair, and component rebuilding
- Proficiency in cutting, burning, and welding (torch, MIG, TIG, Stick)
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and industrial best practices
Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour
