Our EMEA Business Service Center (BSC) in Budapest is Eaton’s largest office in the region. What you’ll do:

The Process and Technology SME will be a trusted advisor and expert resource for the adoption and core systems and processes across the SCM Center of Excellence and with external partners. They will be a proficient system user SAP and Kinaxis (planning system). This role combines strong business process knowledge, advanced system expertise, strong training and coaching capabilities. This role will serve as the functional anchor for Kinaxis implementations, collaborating with implementation and production support teams to ensure issue resolution, and user enablement.

The individual should have good general understanding of materials management with deep understanding of operational procurement and its enablement through Kinaxis. This is an individual contributor role, however given the scope, the individual is expected to collaborate internally across divisions and Network teams which is critical to role success.

Training & Knowledge Transfer

- Facilitate functional workshops, training sessions, and knowledge transfer to build internal & external capabilities and promote adoption of Kinaxis & SAP

- Ensure COE teams regularly trained on the Maestro/SAP process and reinforce training protocols to improve system literacy

- Support peers through knowledge sharing, office hours, clinics, and informal coaching

- Maintain documentation of resolutions and reinforce training protocols to reduce incident volume

- Explain complex concepts in simple terms, bridging the gap between technical system functionality and practical business application

- Share updates and lessons learned with the broader community

- Manage all aspects of mapping COE SCM activities including standardization and system implementations and optimizations.

- Act as the Functional Owner for Supplier Collaboration, and primary point of contact – with a deep understanding of the operational procurement business process to ensure Buyers are regularly trained on the Maestro process, proactively addressing challenges & issues, recommending logic changes when needed, and consolidating user requirements across the Division

Problem Solving & Issue Resolution

- Leads and drives As-Is analysis, identifies process and system implementation requirements, compares with best practice and support implementation activities with domain responsibility

- Troubleshoots issues independently and resolves functional issues in a complex, global supply chain environment

• Translates business needs into functional specifications, secures necessary approvals, and prioritizes enhancements based on impact and feasibility. • i Supports testing and deployment of new capabilities into the production environment

- Helps users identify root causes rather than simply providing answers

- Proactively addresses challenges and issues, recommending logic changes when needed

- Collaborates with global implementation teams, network planners, schedulers, IT, and business stakeholders to drive issue resolutions

- Knows when to leverage Kinaxis versus ERP for optimal outcomes

- Ensures effective technology usage and adoption through timely support

- Maintains documentation of resolutions and reinforce training protocols to improve system literacy and reduce incident volume

- Proven ability to resolve functional issues and support end-users in a complex, global supply chain environment

- Go-to resource for questions, guidance, and escalation support.

Qualifications:

- BSC College degree (preferred in Supply Chain Management)

- 5+ years of SAP Material Management and SCM experience

- Kinaxis is an advantage
