Job Description:
Essential Job Functions:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance asynchronous Python APIs using FastAPI, Pydantic, and SQLAlchemy 2.0.
- Lead PostgreSQL database design activities, including schema modeling, migrations, and query optimization to ensure scalability and reliability.
- Implement and enhance secure authentication and authorization frameworks, including RBAC, OAuth2/OIDC, JWT validation, and API gateway policies.
- Define and govern API standards, including contract design, versioning strategies, and integration best practices across distributed systems.
- Build, deploy, and maintain AI agents using reusable vibecoding templates and blueprint-based development frameworks.
- Configure agent-to-tool integrations through MCP protocols, manage LLM routing strategies, and support AI-driven solution delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and innovative backend and AI-powered solutions.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Typically, 5+ years of professional experience developing backend applications with Python and modern web frameworks.
- Strong expertise in asynchronous Python development, FastAPI (or equivalent frameworks), and modern API design principles.
- Proven experience with PostgreSQL, including schema design, indexing, partitioning, migrations, and performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience implementing OAuth2, OpenID Connect (OIDC), JWT authentication, and integration with enterprise identity providers such as Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
- Experience working with API gateway platforms such as Kong, Apigee, or similar technologies.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes fundamentals, and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
- Working knowledge of Large Language Model (LLM) APIs, prompt engineering techniques, and agent orchestration concepts.
Other Qualifications:
- Experience with AI agent frameworks, workflow automation, and MCP-based integrations is a plus.
- Knowledge of cloud-native architectures and modern distributed systems is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to learn emerging technologies and apply them in innovative business solutions.
- Relevant certifications in cloud technologies, DevOps, cybersecurity, or AI/ML are a plus.
