What you’ll do
We're looking for engineers who want to work alongside colleagues across our Fundamental Equities strategy—people who are team-minded, generous with their expertise, and energized by building things well together.
In this role, you’ll help build AI-enabled solutions that support research and investment workflows across our Fundamental Equities strategy. This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical judgment, commercial orientation, and the ability to turn ambiguous problems into reliable capabilities.
Specifically, you will:
- Partner across investment teams to understand workflows, identify opportunities, and develop clear technical roadmaps
- Build and test prototypes to develop promising ideas into reliable, production-ready capabilities
- Articulate model capabilities and limitations, including when outputs require constraints, validation, deterministic logic, or human escalation
- Work closely with Technology, Data, and Compliance teams on shared capabilities, controls, and specialist expertise
- Communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating between investment needs, system behavior, and delivery trade-offs
What’s required
We're looking for an experienced AI engineer who has led projects alongside other engineers and is ready to help shape the team and its direction.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of professional software engineering or applied AI experience, with a track record of building and shipping useful products or services
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, including the ability to build production systems and work effectively with heterogeneous data sources
- Ability to work directly with experienced investment professionals, scope ambiguous requirements, prioritize effectively, and iterate based on feedback
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Prior financial experience is not required for this role

The annual base salary range for this role is $200,000-$250,000 (USD) , which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
