About Us

Court Services Victoria provides corporate services and facilities to support the performance of the judicial, quasi-judicial and administrative functions of Victoria's courts and tribunal, Judicial College and Judicial Commission.

Collectively, Victoria's Supreme, County, Magistrates', Children's, and Coroners courts, the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT), the Judicial College of Victoria, the Judicial Commission of Victoria, and Court Services Victoria (CSV) are referred to as the ‘Courts Group'.

VCAT

The Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT) is a justice service that resolves a wide range of disputes for the Victorian community, including renting, planning, and consumer disputes. VCAT is committed to delivering an accessible service for all Victorians and is transforming our digital products and services to make it faster, easier, and more convenient for people to come to the tribunal.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting communication, engagement and organisational change across VCAT during a period of significant transformation. As the Senior Engagement and Change Support Advisor, you will lead and coordinate communication and engagement initiatives that keep staff, members and stakeholders informed, connected and engaged.

Working closely with teams across VCAT, Court Services Victoria and the broader justice sector, you will provide trusted advice, build strong stakeholder relationships and deliver strategic communication and engagement activities aligned to VCAT's Communication and Engagement Roadmap. You will partner with project and business teams to support change initiatives, coordinate communication priorities and help strengthen VCAT's capability to effectively engage with its people and stakeholders.

This role is ideal for a proactive communications and engagement professional who enjoys building relationships, influencing outcomes and delivering practical solutions in a dynamic and evolving environment.

Responsibilities include:

- lead communication and engagement activities across VCAT

- partner with stakeholders to support organisational change and key projects

- deliver stakeholder engagement initiatives, forums and events

- develop tools and resources that support leaders to engage their teams

- improve communication channels, processes and engagement practices

- monitor and evaluate communication activities to drive continuous improvement

This is a fixed term opportunity until 30 September 2027

About You

You are a skilled communications and engagement professional who excels at building relationships, influencing stakeholders and delivering clear, audience-focused communication. You thrive in collaborative environments and have experience supporting organisational change in complex settings.

You will bring:

- experience delivering communication, engagement and change initiatives

- strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for different audiences

- a collaborative approach and ability to build trusted relationships across teams

- knowledge of communication, engagement and change management principles

- experience developing communication plans and using insights to measure effectiveness
