About Us:
Doit KL Event is a premier event production agency specializing in live sound reinforcement, stage lighting design, and creative media solutions. AVAILABLE INTERNSHIP TRACKS (Choose One)
1. Audio & Sound Technician Intern
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and dismantle professional PA systems, mixing consoles, stage monitoring, and microphones.
- Assist with live sound mixing, audio signal routing, and multitrack tracking.
- Conduct pre-event soundchecks and manage wireless frequency scanning to eliminate interference.
Requirements:
- Pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Audio Engineering, Music Technology, Sound Production, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of digital/analog mixing consoles and standard DAWs (Pro Tools, Logic Pro, or Ableton Live).
2. Lighting Technician InternKey Responsibilities:
- Rig and hang lighting fixtures, stands, and power distribution systems safely on event trusses.
- Assist with DMX addressing, data line mapping, and light console programming.
- Troubleshoot live lighting configurations and handle inventory packing post-event.
Requirements:
- Pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre Production, Performing Arts, Entertainment Technology, or Scenography.
- Basic understanding of DMX protocols or experience with console software (e.g., grandMA, Avolites).
- Physical stamina to safely lift and manage technical gear.
3. Social Media & Videographer InternKey Responsibilities:
- Shoot and direct behind-the-scenes (BTS) video content on-site during event setups and live shows.
- Edit and format high-energy, short-form vertical videos optimized for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
- Draft captions, manage posting schedules, and actively monitor community engagement across digital handles (@doitklevent).
Requirements:
- Pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication, Broadcast Journalism, Creative Media, or Marketing.
- Mandatory: Strong mobile/camera videography skills and absolute proficiency in editing tools like CapCut or Adobe Premiere Pro.
General Intern Requirements:
- Must be ready for placement between October/November and February 2027.
- A passionate team player who thrives under tight, live-event timelines.
- Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Melayu.
