We are seeking an Engineering Support Officer to support a government Authority's Engineering Support Office (ESO) in the management, operation, maintenance, and implementation of critical systems and transmission network activities.
You will work closely with the Authority, users, vendors, and technical teams to ensure system availability, operational readiness, governance compliance, and successful project implementation across Radar & Communications or C2 (Command & Control) Systems.
## Key Responsibilities
- Provide governance and compliance oversight to ensure adherence to applicable standards, policies, and directives, with a focus on achieving zero audit findings
- Manage KPIs and drive successful delivery of System Management initiatives aligned with organisational objectives
- Lead Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) activities, including publication management, spare parts reviews, and equipment obsolescence management
- Oversee asset inventory management and lifecycle activities to ensure accurate asset accountability, availability, and sustainment
- Manage cybersecurity requirements, including vulnerability tracking, risk mitigation, patch management, and compliance monitoring
- Oversee maintenance activities to ensure system availability, reliability, and operational readiness
## Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering (for Radar & Communications track), or Computer Engineering / Computer Science / Information Technology (for C2 Systems track), with minimum 3 years of relevant experience
- Fresh graduates with at least Second-Class Upper Honours will also be considered
- Strong stakeholder management and engagement skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good understanding of systems, governance, compliance, and service delivery
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
