We’re currently seeking a motivated and reliable Shipping & Receiving Data Entry Clerk to join our dynamic Facilities Team.
Position Overview:
This full-time, permanent role is a new position and will be a vital part of our plant operations. The Shipping & Receiving Data Entry Clerk will be responsible for processing all the shipping and receiving paperwork for inbound and outbound loads. This role will support the shipping desk ensuring efficient flow of goods in the supply chain. This role requires strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process inbound load paerwork.
- Answer shipping and receiving door and coordinate driver movements.
- Receive product in the system and print off associated pallet tags – make any changes to inbound loads as required.
- Sign off inbound paperwork and distribute copies to all relevant parties.
- Coordinate with floor supervisor when inbound trucks arrive and what docks they will be using.
- Coordinate with floor supervisor when drivers can be released.
- Process all outbound paperwork.
- Print out all outbound orders and organize loads onto trucks.
- Ensure all parties have outbound bills of lading.
- Assist in all other shipping and receiving related desk duites.
- General cleaning duties.
Qualifications:
- FLT and Power Jack Licence
- Physically Fit
Working Conditions:
- Flexibility to work overtime, afternoon shifts, and weekends.
- Comfortable working in refrigerated environments for short durations
- Shift start times may vary, beginning as early as 6:30 AM
Physical & Sensory Requirements:
- Ability to lift, bend, walk, and stand or sit for extended periods
- Must be able to read health and safety signage and hear equipment signals (e.g., vehicle horns)
- Requires problem-solving in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
