The Physician Liaison is the face of Brain Health Center to the referring medical community. This role builds and maintains relationships with primary care physicians, neurologists, ENTs, psychiatrists, and other referral sources; educates their offices on what we do and how to refer; and serves as the single point of contact when a referring office has a question or a problem. Success is measured by referral growth and by how easy referring offices find it to work with us.

Key ResponsibilitiesReferral development (~60%)

- Plan and complete a regular schedule of in-person visits to physician offices within the territory (target: [X] visits per week), prioritizing primary care, neurology, ENT, psychiatry, cardiology, and geriatrics.

- Schedule and host educational lunches and lunch-and-learns for physicians and office staff, presenting BHC's services, appropriate patient candidates, and the referral process.

- Deliver and restock marketing collateral (brochures, infographics, referral forms) and make sure every office knows how to send us a patient.

- Identify and research new referral sources; develop and maintain a target list.

- Log every contact, visit, and lunch in the CRM/tracking sheet the same day.

Referring office support (~25%)

- Act as the primary point of contact for referring offices: questions about services, scheduling availability, accepted insurance, referral status, and report turnaround.

- Triage and resolve problems raised by referring offices (missing or delayed reports, scheduling delays, patient complaints, prior-auth questions), coordinating with front desk, clinical, and billing staff, and closing the loop back with the office.

- Monitor that referring physicians receive reports and consult notes on time; escalate outstanding reports internally.

- Communicate changes in services, providers, hours, or insurance participation to referring offices proactively.

Reporting and coordination (~15%)

- Maintain referral tracking and produce a monthly report on referral volume by source, new sources, and sources that have gone quiet.

- Collect feedback from referring offices and bring it back to leadership.

- Coordinate with intake so referred patients are scheduled promptly and the referring office is notified.

- Represent BHC at community health events, CME events, and professional meetings as needed.
