Overview
We are looking for a reliable and professional HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driver to join our growing team based in Felixstowe.
The role mainly involves container work from the Port of Felixstowe, with occasional curtainsider work, when container work is quiet due weather or other disruptions.
£300 sign up bonus after 10 completed shifts.
The Role
* Monday to Friday
* Full-time, permanent position
* Mainly container work
* Day work with occasional nights out when required
* Regular work throughout the year
* Allocated vehicle where possible
* Small, friendly transport company
* Direct communication with our transport team
Requirements
Applicants must have:
* Full UK Category C+E (Class 1) licence
* Valid Driver CPC
* Valid Digital Tachograph Card
* Good understanding of drivers’ hours and Working Time rules
* Good standard of vehicle checks
* Reliable and professional attitude
* Ability to communicate effectively with the transport office and customers
Previous container experience is preferred, although suitable drivers can be considered depending on experience.
