Role Description The Business Development Manager – Tours and Travels is a full-time, on-site role based in Kochi. This role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with corporate and individual clients, and promoting the company’s air ticketing, visa services, and holiday packages. Day-to-day tasks include prospecting and lead generation, conducting sales meetings and presentations, negotiating contracts and pricing, and closing deals in line with revenue targets. The Business Development Manager will collaborate with operations and ticketing teams to ensure service delivery aligns with client expectations and will track market trends to develop and refine sales strategies. The role also involves reporting on performance metrics, attending industry events, and contributing to marketing initiatives to strengthen the company’s brand and market reach.
Qualifications
- Strong business development and sales skills, including lead generation, client relationship management, and negotiation.
- Experience in the travel and tourism industry, preferably with exposure to air ticketing, visa processing, and holiday packages.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present services clearly and handle client inquiries professionally.
- Comfort with basic CRM tools, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and data-driven reporting on sales performance.
- Proactive, target-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field; equivalent experience in travel sales may also be considered.
- Strong local market knowledge of Kochi and surrounding regions; ability to travel within the region as required.
- Prior experience in corporate travel sales or agency business development is an advantage.
Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
