Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Ticketed Dumper Driver/Ground Worker to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to diverse construction projects by operating machinery and assisting with ground preparation and site duties. The ideal candidate will be energetic, safety-conscious, and eager to support the smooth progress of our construction sites.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate dumpers and other construction machinery to transport materials across site
- Assist with groundworks, site clearance, and preparation activities
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
- Support excavation activities by assisting with equipment setup and material handling
- Follow all health and safety protocols diligently during daily tasks
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery and report any issues promptly
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge to operate and troubleshoot construction equipment effectively
- Experience operating excavators or similar machinery is highly desirable
- Valid commercial driving license for operating dumpers and other vehicles on-site
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations within a construction environment
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions with physical stamina
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members effectively
