Position Summary:

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Facilities Operations Manager - CMMS.

This position will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of Real Estate Development and Facilities Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), Enterprise-wide.

Job Responsibilities:

- Oversee the daily operations of Real Estate Development and Facilities Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), Maintenance Connection, for all divisions, including but not limited to, Facilities Operations, Real Estate and Housing, Environmental Services, Security and Locksmith, Design Studio, Art Program and Environmental Health and Safety.

- Act as the key point of contact for all system end users, Medical Center Information Technology (MCIT) and other departments as needed.

- Manage a team of internal staff and external consultants to ensure smooth operation of the system and support a large end user group.

- Oversee a matrixed team of staff, enterprise wide, to ensure accurate asset inventory in CMMS and ensure assets are up to date, including maintenance schedules, locations and equipment information. Collaborate with Construction Project Teams and Operations teams to ensure information is accurate, timely and in accordance with established standards

- Collaborate with all RED+F divisions to standardize functionality, processes and practices across campuses, including equipment and asset management, preventative maintenance, service requests and inventory management.

- Develop and maintain system workflow and configuration and routinely monitor and audit system to ensure proper functionality and data integrity

- Log and track problems and work tickets with external vendor support

- Manage user access and accounts and perform user setup configuration including permissions levels and user security roles including adding, disabling and updating user accounts Provide technical support and user trainings on CMMS system and develop and maintain training plans and training materials

- Maintain business rules, functional requirements, technical and process specifications and integration requirements

- Establish and maintain the standards of system nomenclature, business processes and practices.

- Manage data integrity in CMMS and perform system QA/QC to identify data anomalies and deficiencies

- In collaboration with the Data and Quality Assurance Manager and Analysts, manage reporting requirements and develop and maintain reports and dashboards to support business needs

- Analyze work order performance and drive actions to meet performance metrics and drive improvement

- Identify opportunities for workflow enhancement, performance improvement and continued excellence in line with RED+Fs departmental goals

- Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelors Degree

- 5 years of relevant experience working directly with

- CMMS platforms in a Facilities Operations or Real Estate environment.

- Must be organized, detailed-orientated, dependable and flexible

- Have excellent oral/written communication skills and be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding design and implementation

- Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects as business needs change

- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team

Preferred Qualifications:

- Advanced proficiency with Maintenance Connection in the role of Manager, Supervisor

or System Administrator

- Bachelors degree in facilities management, information technology, computer science, engineering, business administration, or relevant work experience

- 7 years of work experience in CMMS administration or a relevant setting

- 2 years of work experience in Accruent's Maintenance Connection or other CMMS platforms

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $101,493.51 - $152,250.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
