In this entry-level role, you don't need prior experience—we will teach you everything!
You will start by helping us with essential paperwork, booking in materials, and learning how to use specialist software (Visual IPI) to create digital drawing reports.
As you grow into the job, we will invest in your development by fully training you in internal auditing and engineering problem-solving (root cause analysis).

Key Responsibilities
Technical Quality & Inspection Support
- Create ballooned drawings and generate detailed dimensional reports utilising Visual IPI software.
- Assist Quality Engineers by managing and coordinating onsite calibration requirements for inspection equipment.
- Support the engineering team with data collection for continuous improvement.
Non-Conformance & Complaint Management
- Formally raise and document NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), customer complaints, and supplier NCRs.
- Actively maintain, update, and help manage the internal NCR databases to ensure accurate tracking and close-out times.
Documentation & Logistics Administration
- Compile, verify, and create material certification, compliance documentation, and final job pack releases.
- Raise delivery tickets and accurately book incoming materials into the inventory/ERP system.
- Ensure all quality records are systematically archived and easily retrievable for audits.
Long-Term Career Development
- Over time, actively participate in structured training to conduct internal quality auditing.
- Train in and apply root cause analysis methodologies to help solve recurring quality issues.
Who We Are Looking For
- A recent school/college leaver with an interest in Quality / Engineering
- Strong computer skills with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
- Excellent attention to detail—you are someone who notices the little things.
- Good communication skills to speak with teammates and occasionally suppliers.
- A positive, eager-to-learn attitude with an interest in how things are made or engineered.
Pay: £22,005.00-£26,000.00 per year
