Responsibilities
- Safely operate various vehicles, including commercial trucks and automobiles, adhering to all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safe lifting practices
- Deliver products efficiently along designated routes while maintaining accurate delivery documentation
- Engage with customers professionally, answer questions, and build positive relationships to enhance customer satisfaction
- Conduct route planning and organization to optimize delivery schedules and improve efficiency
- Assist with merchandising and product placement at retail stores when needed
- Handle heavy lifting with proper technique to ensure safety for yourself and others during loading and unloading
- Upsell additional products or services when appropriate to maximize sales opportunities during deliveries
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience in commercial truck driving or automobile transportation preferred
- Strong math skills for accurate pricing calculations and route navigation
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team coordination
- Proven ability in retail store experience or customer service roles is a plus
- Knowledge of DOT regulations, safe lifting practices, and heavy lifting techniques
- Organizational skills to manage delivery schedules, paperwork, and route logistics effectively
- Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged periods of driving or standing
