Senior Network Engineer - SDWAN
Contract Duration: Initial 6 Months
Location - Sydney CBD {Hybrid work}
Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Network Engineer specializing in SD-WAN technologies to join the team supporting the Client project. This role requires a subject matter expert to lead the design, implementation, and optimisation of enterprise-grade SD-WAN solutions.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Extensive hands-on experience in SD-WAN design and deployment.
- Proficient with Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela), Meraki, Fortinet, or comparable SD-WAN platforms.
- Strong understanding of WAN routing protocols, including BGP, and expertise in QoS and VPN technologies.
- Experience integrating SD-WAN with network security solutions and cloud platforms.
- Proven ability to plan and execute network migrations including testing and cutover support.
- Skilled in network monitoring tools and performance tuning.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills, capable of creating technical runbooks and facilitating knowledge transfer.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within government or large enterprise environments is advantageous.
- Relevant networking certifications such as Cisco CCNP/CCIE or equivalent.
