Your leadership will be pivotal in optimizing production efficiency, troubleshooting technical issues, and maintaining rigorous quality standards.
Team Leader – Plastic Injection MoldingPosition Summary
Responsible for leading the injection molding production team to meet safety, quality, productivity, and delivery goals. The Team Leader will coordinate daily production activities, support operators, troubleshoot process issues, and ensure company procedures are followed.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate daily activities of injection molding operators.
- Ensure production schedules, quality standards, and safety requirements are met.
- Monitor machine performance, cycle times, scrap, and downtime.
- Assist with machine setup, mold changes, startups, and changeovers.
- Troubleshoot basic molding and equipment issues and escalate when needed.
- Train, coach, and support production employees.
- Work closely with Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering to resolve issues.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of plastic injection molding experience.
- Previous lead or supervisory experience preferred.
- Knowledge of injection molding processes and common molding defects.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and flexible shifts.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and ability to enforce safety standards within a manufacturing environment
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and process adjustments
- Warehouse experience or materials handling expertise is a plus
- Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts is preferred
Pay: $20.00 per hour
