Why you'll enjoy this new opportunity
You will join Deloitte’s Transfer Pricing team in Dublin, working with Irish and multinational clients across advisory, documentation, controversy (including supporting clients on transfer pricing interventions, Advance Pricing Agreements and Mutual Agreement Procedures). More broadly, our transfer pricing professionals also work closely alongside our wider direct and indirect tax teams, affording opportunities to work both across a range of markets and client specific projects. The role will suit someone at Manager or equivalent level who can take responsibility for day-to-day client work, while continuing to build their technical judgement with support from senior team members.
Key skills and prior experience that align well with this position

Strong communication skills (both written and oral) with an ability to develop innovative ideas and solutions, with the ability to think around a problem;

Strong client relationship management skills;

Ability to plan and monitor projects, budget and timescale management and people;

Ability to demonstrate and apply knowledge of current and proposed transfer pricing legislation (e.g. OECD, EU, IRS, etc.) and their impact on our clients;

Experience in financial service transactions (e.g. insurance, funds, banking) beneficial;

Experience in dispute resolution matters including APA and MAP projects beneficial;

Experience in use of economic analysis databases; and

A desire to develop your career, take on additional responsibility leading client projects and varied work.
What type of work will I be doing?
-
Project managing and supporting all aspects of work from the development of transfer pricing planning strategies, design and implementation of transfer pricing policies, through to compliance programmes and audit defence;

Leading functional analysis interviews and undertaking economic analyses;

Preparation and reviewing transfer pricing documentation based on functional, comparability and economic analyses of the client's business, including using our market leading technology solutions;

Supporting clients in resolving transfer pricing disputes including transfer pricing interventions, advance pricing agreements and mutual agreement procedures;
-
Partnering with our clients to develop solutions to their operational transfer pricing challenges, supporting them with the practical application of their transfer pricing policies;

Working with Deloitte member firms across the globe on international advisory projects;

Supporting senior management on business development initiatives including helping to identify new opportunities for existing and prospective clients and the assumption of practice management responsibilities; and

Mentoring junior members of the team, playing an active role in their development.

The Hiring Manager is Kevin Norton, Partner and Head of Transfer Pricing in Deloitte Ireland. Kevin leads the Irish transfer pricing team and works with a broad range of Irish and multinational groups on Irish and international transfer pricing matters.
