Natixis Advisory & Coverage is a premier, client-facing business development group responsible for managing high-value, firm-to-firm relationships with the firm’s key clients. Our team spans all of Natixis’s product suites and structured solutions. We are seeking a sophisticated and driven Senior Originator, Asset Manager Coverage to join our Financial Institutions Group (FIG) in the Americas.
In this pivotal role, you will have direct client-coverage responsibility—primarily engaging with senior key decision-makers—to drive new business initiatives, expand our market share, and foster long-term institutional partnerships. Essential duties and responsibilities
As an Advisory & Coverage Officer, you will work across all Natixis business lines and product groups, collaborating directly with senior business leaders and Executive Committee (ExCo) members. You will operate in a dynamic, team-oriented environment to seamlessly deliver our firm’s global capabilities and earn major client mandates.
Your key responsibilities will include:

Direct Client Coverage: Leading and executing direct client coverage strategies for assigned accounts, serving as the primary point of contact to deepen firm-to-firm relationships.

Business Development: Proactively identifying, originating, and executing new business opportunities across diverse Natixis business lines, with a strong focus on Real Asset Finance, Investment Banking, and Markets.

Strategic Collaboration: Partnering closely with internal stakeholders, product specialists, and business line leaders who interact with your assigned clients to ensure a unified and strategic approach.

Relationship Management: Cultivating and maintaining institutional relationships with key senior decision-makers, C-suite executives, and influential stakeholders at major asset managers, alternative asset managers, and hedge funds.

Cross-Product Delivery: Acting as a trusted advisor to senior clients, effectively mobilizing the firm's structured solutions, capital markets products, and advisory services to meet their sophisticated financial needs.
Qualifications

Professional Experience: A minimum of 10+ years of proven, client-facing experience in investment banking, institutional coverage, or a sophisticated business development role.

Market Expertise: A deep, comprehensive understanding of real asset finance, global markets-driven products, and structured financial solutions.

Established Network: A proven track record of business development success, featuring active, current relationships with senior key decision-makers at asset managers, alternative asset managers, and hedge funds.

Collaboration Skills: Outstanding interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, managing complex internal and external stakeholders.

Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial solutions to sophisticated institutional clients.

Education: A bachelor’s degree is required; an MBA, JD, or other advanced degree is highly preferred.
The salary range for this Vice President position will be between $180,000 - $240,000. Natixis is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Actual base salary will vary and will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, education, skills set, applicable licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Base salary is only one component of our total rewards package. Natixis also offers a generous benefits package, and you may be eligible for a discretionary incentive award depending on company and individual performance.
The salary range for this Director position will be between $220,000 - $280,000. Natixis is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Actual base salary will vary and will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, education, skills set, applicable licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Base salary is only one component of our total rewards package. Natixis also offers a generous benefits package, and you may be eligible for a discretionary incentive award depending on company and individual performance.
