Role Description & Responsibilities
Dassault Systèmes is seeking a Solution Consultant – Geometric Modeling to support customers in solving complex engineering challenges through advanced modeling, simulation, and 3DEXPERIENCE platform solutions. This position can be based at any Dassault Systèmes location within the United States. Location: Any 3DS location within the USA
In this role, you will serve as a technical expert in geometry creation, parameterization, and reuse while helping customers implement unified MODSIM (Modeling & Simulation) workflows. You will work across industries including Aerospace & Defense, Automotive, Consumer Packaged Goods, Energy, High-Tech, and Life Sciences.
You will collaborate closely with simulation experts to ensure geometric models effectively support multi-scale and multi-physics simulation workflows. You will also leverage Dassault Systèmes AI capabilities and other emerging technologies to help automate engineering processes, develop surrogate models, and accelerate product development.

Architect, develop, and optimize unified MODSIM geometric workflows for enterprise customers across multiple industries.

Provide technical consulting and guidance related to advanced geometric modeling, parametric design, and engineering workflows.

Apply and deploy CATIA solutions and the latest capabilities within the Dassault Systèmes portfolio.

Develop robust, parameter-driven geometric models designed to support simulation and machine learning workflows.

Collaborate with SIMULIA experts to integrate CAD and CAE processes and deliver connected geometric and multi-physics simulation workflows.

Leverage Dassault Systèmes AI Virtual Companions and other AI-enabled technologies to automate engineering activities, including generative design, part and assembly creation, and 2D-to-3D conversion.

Develop and implement Engineering Templates and automated engineering processes using scripting and programming technologies.

Partner directly with customers and internal stakeholders to understand engineering challenges, define technical requirements, and recommend effective solutions.

Communicate complex technical concepts to audiences with varying levels of engineering and technical expertise.

Support customer engagements that may require occasional travel within the United States.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline; Master’s degree preferred.

8+ years of technical engineering experience involving geometric modeling, parametric design, or related engineering applications.

Strong experience developing geometric models suitable for finite element analysis and simulation workflows.

Advanced understanding of parametric Boundary Representation (B-Rep), topology, surface modeling, and computational geometry.

Strong hands-on experience with CATIA products; experience with the 3DEXPERIENCE platform is highly preferred.

Experience developing Engineering Templates and automating engineering processes.

Strong understanding of how geometric modeling decisions can impact meshing, mesh convergence, and nonlinear structural simulation.

Experience working with MODSIM, CAD/CAE integration, or multi-physics engineering workflows is strongly preferred.

Exposure to AI-enabled engineering workflows, surrogate modeling, machine learning, or engineering automation is a plus.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical consulting skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to work effectively in a global and cross-functional environment.

Ability and willingness to travel approximately 10% as required.

Compensation & Benefits
Dassault Systèmes offers an excellent salary with potential for bonus, commensurate with experience. Salary Pay Transparency
Compensation for the role will be commensurate with experience. The total expected compensation range will be between $135000 and $160000, representing the base salary (or annualized salary based on estimated hourly compensation) and target bonus.
