This is a unique technical support position that combines customer service, hands-on equipment use, software support, and problem-solving. The role is constantly evolving, providing the opportunity to work directly with new technologies, innovative equipment, and process-control software.
As a member of our support team, you will work on the front line of new product development and technology. Your experience working with customers will also provide valuable insight that can help improve our software, equipment design, and processes.
COMPENSATION
Starting at $25.00+ per hour based on experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide technical support to customers by phone and email, identifying issues and recommending effective solutions.
- Learn and utilize our in-house software and technical systems.
- Receive hands-on training and experience with company equipment in our laboratory.
- Become knowledgeable about our equipment and processes so you can provide knowledgeable, timely support to customers.
- Assist customers with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Provide feedback and suggestions that may help improve software, equipment design, and overall customer experience.
- Adapt to new products, technologies, processes, and customer needs as they evolve.

QUALIFICATIONS
- 2- to 4-year degree in Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Knowledge of electrical systems and wiring is preferred; DIY or hands-on experience is a plus.
- Strong mechanical aptitude is required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and effectively manage a task list.
- Strong knowledge of computer operating systems and common software applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
