This is an opportunity to contribute to the continued growth of OCBC's Export Credit Agency (ECA) Finance and Project Finance (PF) franchise across Asia and beyond.

As part of SPFA, you will be involved in the origination, structuring and execution of:

- ECA-backed financing transactions across OCBC’s target markets globally; and

- Project finance opportunities involving Korean sponsors.

Working within a specialised product team, you will collaborate closely with sector coverage teams, overseas branches and product partners across Global Wholesale Banking to deliver tailored financing solution for clients.

This role offers broad exposure across business development, credit analysis, transaction structuring and execution. It is well suited to candidates who enjoys working on complex financings and supporting mandates from origination through to financial close.

How it works

To succeed in this role, you will combine sound analytical ability and credit judgement with a solid understanding of project and structured finance.

Experience in sectors such as Renewables, Power & Utilities, Oil & Gas, Infrastructure and other asset-intensive industries will be advantageous. You should be comfortable evaluating commercial, financial, technical and legal aspects of greenfield and brownfield projects, as well as ECA-backed corporate financings.

Fluency in Korean is strongly preferred, as the role will focus on opportunities involving Korean sponsors, contractors and ECAs.

You will be a proactive and dependable professional with excellent attention to detail, sound judgement and effective communication skills, capable of working with internal and external stakeholders across multiple geographies.

What you do

Assist in developing ECA-backed financing and PF business, including mandates involving Korean counterparties.

Perform transaction screening, market research and preliminary credit assessments.

Prepare client presentations, financing proposals, indicative terms and other deal-related materials.

Lead transaction execution, including due diligence, credit assessment, financial modelling, structuring and documentation.

Assess project and corporate financial information and identify key commercial, structural and credit considerations.

Maintain financial models and perform sensitivity and scenario analyses.

Draft credit applications and transaction recommendation for internal approval.

Help develop financing structurs that meet client objectives while balancing OCBC’s risk, return and capital objectives.

Track developments across relevant industries and the ECA market, and assess potential implication for the business and portfolio.

Prepare market intelligence, management reports and other internal materials as required.

Who you are

-
Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in structured finance, project finance, ECA finance, infrastructure finance or related fields.

Sound credit analysis and structuring skills, with the ability to articulate and defend credit recommendations.

Strong financial modelling and analytic skills.

Commercially minded, with an interest in developing financing opportunities and client relationships.

Fluency in Korean is strongly preferred.

Strong attention to detail and disciplined execution capabilities.

Able to manage multiple workstreams and competing priorities effectively.

Effective interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills.
