We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to embed with the client infrastructure team and own CI/CD pipeline quality, security, and observability across all three delivery pods. In this role, you will maintain and improve GitLab pipelines, drive infrastructure-as-code consolidation, instrument delivery metrics, and support the non-production environment hardening initiative. The ideal candidate is a hands-on DevOps engineer who is equally comfortable working independently on pipeline improvements and collaborating closely with a client infrastructure team.
Responsibilities
-
Maintain and improve GitLab CI/CD pipelines across all pods, ensuring reliable build, test, and deploy workflows
-
Introduce and configure pipeline security scanning (SAST/DAST, dependency vulnerability scanning)
-
Set up and maintain automated dependency update tooling (Renovate or Dependabot) across all repositories
-
Own infrastructure-as-code consolidation across pods, reducing configuration sprawl and improving maintainability
-
Support the non-production environment access restriction initiative in collaboration with the client infrastructure team
-
Configure ECS log drivers for products currently missing centralized log collection
-
Build and maintain the DORA metrics infrastructure to provide delivery health visibility
-
Ensure consistent observability instrumentation (logging, metrics, distributed tracing) across all pod services
-
Support incident response with infrastructure-level diagnosis during the initial ownership period
-
Work embedded within the client infrastructure team, aligning on standards and avoiding shadow infrastructure
-
Advise pod leads and engineers on deployment patterns, rollback procedures, and environment promotion
-
Contribute to runbook documentation for infrastructure-level operational procedures
