About the Role:
Are you an accounting professional ready to step into a leadership role that truly runs the engine of a growing construction business? Altitude Energy, a rapidly growing leader in the powerline construction industry, is seeking a driven and experienced Accounting Operations Manager to join our team. This is a critical, high‑impact role responsible for ensuring the day‑to‑day financial operations of the company are accurate, disciplined, and reliable. You will own the accounting workflows that support job costing, accounts payable, invoice approvals, and cash flow forecasting—allowing leadership to operate with confidence and clarity. This is not a clerical accounting role. We are looking for a process‑driven leader who understands how accounting, operations, and cash flow intersect in a project‑based environment.
Job Title: Accounting Lead
Division/Department: Accounting
Location: Keenesburg, CO
Admin and Management Positions: In Office Full Remote Mix of Office and Remote
Pay: $70,000 - $80,000 annually, depending on experience.
Reports To: CFO

Minimum Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, or closely related field
Experience:5+ years of progressive accounting or finance operations experience (construction or job‑cost environment strongly preferred)
Technical Skills:
Strong Excel skills
Experience with accounting systems (Foundations experience a plus)
Background Check: Criminal & public record search
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
