As a Junior HR AI Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in innovating HR projects focusing on people themes such as Engagement, Vitality & Absenteeism, Turnover, Diversity & Inclusion, and Strategic Workforce Planning. With your AI engineering skills, you design solutions that enable our clients to take the right decisions on these topics. These decisions and subsequent actions will lead to a superior Employee Experience for employees at our clients, while also boosting the organizational performance.

Your role as Junior HR AI Engineer

You will work for one or more renowned companies like NN Group, Jumbo Supermarkten, Friesland Campina and others. Together with your Highberg colleagues you will help our esteemed clients with the transformation from relying on traditional HR software and analytics to building AI solutions that transform hiring, onboarding, workforce planning, compliance and other People and Organizational workflows.

- As part of our AI driven HR team, you will partner closely with our People Analytics translators to understand the challenges or opportunities.

- You will then first combine, analyze and transform data sets to explore insights and possible solutions.

- Subsequently you will apply data science and AI techniques to generate insights and embed scalable solutions.

- You will work together with colleagues, stakeholders and AI to make the insights trustworthy, compelling and actionable.

- Finally, you collaborate with our marketing colleagues to share all the knowledge and insights gained with our network.

Who are you?

- Team-oriented, communicative, and capable of working independently.

- You are ambitious and entrepreneurial.

- You love data science and are fascinated by human behavior.

- You have a good commercial instinct or enjoy developing one.

What are we asking?

- You have just graduated (master degree), or have up to 2 years working experience.

- Eligible to work in the EEA without the need for visa sponsorship.

Available for

- 4 days a week and within 1 hours travel of our Amsterdam RAI office.

- Knowledge of statistical / machine learning methods and are genuinely interested in leveraging AI possibilities for internal product development or client solutions.

- Proficient in Python, have gained some experience with Azure, Databricks and Power BI, Git (code version control) and SQL or are interested in working with this technology stack.

- Proficient in English. Dutch and German language skills are a plus

- Participation in a pre-employment screening is part of our application process.

Depending on the role, we may ask you to work on a short case, give a presentation, or have an additional conversation. This gives both you and us a better view of your expertise and way of thinking in practice.

4 Offer and Onboarding
