Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work closely with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including those on the autism spectrum, to implement behavior intervention plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with families and other professionals.

Duties

- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in the clinic setting.

- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) to promote independence and enhance quality of life.

- Collect and record data on client progress, behaviors, and interventions in accordance with HIPAA regulations.

- Teach social skills, communication techniques, and coping strategies to clients using evidence-based practices.

- Support clients in managing challenging behaviors through positive reinforcement and behavior management strategies.

- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records related to client care plans and progress.

- Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to client care.

- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities related to behavioral health and special education.

Experience

- Previous experience in behavioral therapy or working with children is preferred.

- Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques and principles is highly desirable.

- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorders is a plus.

- Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and care plan development is beneficial.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for effective data collection and documentation.

- Full Time Position; Mon-Thurs- 8:15-5:45; and Friday 8:30-12:30

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
