As part of its continued growth and digital transformation, Iaponiki is looking for a Data Scientist Coordinator (Pricing & Analytics), based in Pallini, Attica.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop advanced customer segmentation models based on behavior, purchase frequency, and value to optimize pricing strategies.
- Analyze product demand & market trends using time-series forecasting and market basket analysis to improve pricing decisions.
- Identify pricing opportunities that maximize profitability and sales through price elasticity models and A/B testing.
- Work with our pricing platform, ensuring seamless integration and continuous data-driven improvements.
- Apply machine learning techniques (classification, regression, clustering) to detect patterns and refine pricing strategies.
- Build unsupervised learning models that autonomously detect pricing gaps and sales opportunities.
- Collaborate with business teams to translate data insights into actionable pricing decisions that enhance competitiveness.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience in data analytics, data engineering, or data science, ideally in pricing or retail analytics.
- Fluency in English.
- Strong SQL & Python (or R) skills – hands-on experience is a must.
- Knowledge of pricing optimization techniques, predictive modeling, and statistical analysis.
- Experience with data visualization tools to effectively communicate insights.
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to business challenges.
- Ability to work independently, drive insights without predefined rules, and find innovative solutions.
