Duties
- Develop and implement machine learning models utilizing frameworks such as TensorFlow, Spark MLlib, and other AI tools to enhance predictive capabilities.
- Design and optimize scalable big data systems using Hadoop, Spark, and cloud services like AWS to manage large datasets efficiently.
- Conduct statistical analysis for research purposes, applying techniques such as unsupervised learning, natural language processing, and statistical modeling to extract meaningful insights.
- Build and maintain SQL databases and ETL pipelines with Talend or similar tools to ensure seamless data integration and accessibility.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on model training, evaluation, deployment, and ongoing performance monitoring to ensure AI models meet operational needs.
- Utilize data mining techniques to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within complex datasets for strategic advantage.
- Support the development of data visualization dashboards using Looker or comparable tools to communicate findings effectively across stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience in machine learning/AI-based analysis with a strong understanding of AI implementation in cloud environments such as AWS or Google Cloud.
- Proficiency in programming languages including Python, R, Java, C, and Bash (Unix shell) for data processing and model development.
- Deep knowledge of big data systems like Hadoop, Spark implementation, and SQL databases for managing large-scale datasets.
- Expertise in statistical analysis tools such as SAS or R for research-focused statistical modeling and analysis.
- Familiarity with natural language processing techniques and generative AI applications for advanced text analysis projects.
- Experience with model deployment, scalability considerations, and model evaluation metrics to ensure robust AI solutions.
- Strong understanding of database design principles combined with experience in data analytics tools like Looker or VBA for reporting purposes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights through machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow or Spark MLlib.

Pay: $116,380.41 - $140,157.05 per year
