GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF ROLE:
The Senior Manager – People Analytics leads a team of People Analysts and Senior Consultants – People Analytics within People Operations, delivering workforce reporting, analysis, and insights. The role ensures accurate, timely, and stakeholder-focused analytics while developing team capability, managing performance, and overseeing service delivery.
The Senior Manager balances stakeholder demand, colleague development, operational priorities, and delivery commitments. The role drives People Analytics excellence supports recruitment and onboarding and fosters a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The colleague is responsible for:
Service Leadership and Operational Performance

Ensure delivery of accurate, timely, and meaningful reporting, analytics, and workforce insights.

Monitor service performance against operational requirements, quality standards, and delivery commitments.

Lead issue resolution and act as the first escalation point for delivery and stakeholder concerns.

Ensure effective quality assurance, governance, and risk management practices across team outputs.
People Leadership, Talent Development and Performance Management

Lead, coach, and develop Consultants and Senior Consultants through regular feedback, performance discussions, and development planning.

Establish clear goals, performance expectations, and accountability measures for team members.
-
Manage recruitment, onboarding, succession planning, and talent development activities.
-
Foster colleague engagement, inclusion, collaboration, and retention.
-
Identify capability gaps and implement development plans to strengthen analytical, technical, and consulting skills.

Manage performance concerns and provide appropriate coaching and support.
Workforce Planning and Resource Management

Own team capacity planning, workload balancing, and resource allocation.

Ensure appropriate coverage across regions, stakeholders, business priorities, and time zones.

Monitor delivery demand and identify resource constraints, risks, and dependencies.

Support workforce planning and hiring decisions with the Reporting and Analytics Leader.

Maintain business continuity and coverage plans.
Analytics Capability Development and Continuous Improvement

Build team capability in workforce analytics, visualization, storytelling, stakeholder consulting, automation, and emerging technologies.

Sponsor standardization, automation, and process improvement initiatives.

Encourage innovation and adoption of scalable reporting and analytical solutions.

Promote a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing.

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

Experience managing teams, preferably in People or business analytics, including goal setting, feedback, and performance conversations.

Advanced Excel and working proficiency in the wider Microsoft Office suite.

Working knowledge of Workday reporting, Power BI, or equivalent BI tools, sufficient to review and assure team output.

Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.

Strong presentation skills and comfort interacting with varied levels of the organization.

Ability to manage team workload, prioritize delivery, and allocate resources across competing demands.

Experience in performance management and talent development.

Understanding of People Organization processes, reporting standards, data quality, and process improvement.

Ability to operate in a large global environment spanning varied time zones based on project alignments and assignments. Non-standard working hours for global calls may be required.
