Group Details
We are seeking a results-driven and technical Vice President (VP) to design, configure, and execute enterprise Data Catalog implementations using Collibra . In this individual contributor / technical specialist role, you will work hands-on with the Collibra Data Intelligence Cloud platform to operationalize metadata management, data lineage, and business glossaries. You will bridge technical systems and business stakeholders to ensure enterprise data assets are well-documented, discoverable, and compliant.
Job Responsibilities

Platform Configuration & Administration : Configure and maintain Collibra Data Catalog, Data Governance Center (DGC), and reference data structures (communities, domains, asset types, and attributes).
- Workflow & Automation : Design, develop, and customize Collibra Workflows (BPMN 2.0) to support data stewardship, asset onboarding, and issue management processes.
- Metadata & Lineage Integration : Implement automated metadata harvesting and establish end-to-end data lineage by integrating Collibra with cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, AWS, Azure) and BI tools using APIs or Collibra Connect.
- Stakeholder & Steward Enablement : Partner directly with Data Owners and Data Stewards to define critical data elements, business glossaries, and data dictionaries.
- Data Quality & Compliance Alignment : Support the integration of data quality metrics and rules into the catalog framework, aligning with data privacy and regulatory requirements.

Documentation & Best Practices : Maintain technical documentation, manage asset deployment cycles, and troubleshoot configuration or integration hurdles.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience : 5–8 years of professional experience in Data Governance, Metadata Management, or Data Engineering, with at least 4+ years of focused, hands-on configuration and implementation experience within the Collibra ecosystem.
- Collibra Proficiency : Deep practical knowledge of Collibra Console, asset modeling, metamodel configuration, and workflow development (BPMN 2.0).
- Technical Skills : Strong competency in SQL, REST APIs, and data integration patterns. Familiarity with cloud data lakes/warehouses (Snowflake, Databricks, AWS/Azure) is essential.
- Certifications : Collibra Certified Systems Administrator or Collibra Certified Developer credentials are a strong advantage.
- Education : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
- Soft Skills : Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage effectively with technical peers and business partners alike.
