GenAI Engineer at BairesDev
As a GenAI Engineer, you will design and develop advanced retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems using Python and modern vector databases. You will connect the latest AI research with production-ready applications, ensuring that generative models provide accurate, context-aware responses at scale.
What You'll Do:
- Design and implement scalable RAG pipelines using vector databases like Pinecone, Qdrant, or Weaviate.
- Optimize data ingestion workflows by developing sophisticated chunking and embedding strategies.
- Improve retrieval precision through the implementation of reranking algorithms and hybrid search techniques.
- Evaluate and benchmark AI system performance using specialized frameworks like RAGAS.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate generative AI features into enterprise software ecosystems.
- Maintain the reliability and efficiency of production AI environments through continuous monitoring and optimization.
What we are looking for:
- 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Machine Learning, or AI Engineering.
- Proven expertise in implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and hybrid search.
- Advanced proficiency in Python and working with vector databases like Pinecone, Qdrant, or Weaviate.
- Hands-on experience with embeddings, chunking strategies, and reranking methods.
- Solid understanding of evaluation frameworks for LLM-based applications such as RAGAS.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
