- Design and develop CCB Rewards Earnings Engine microservices using Java 21 and Spring Boot, handling high-volume transaction processing via multithreading, securing reward services with Spring Security, and enforcing system reliability through centralized exception handling.
- Deploy and implement AWS cloud services including S3, SQS, ECS, and Load Balancing for CCB platform applications, leveraging Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and Spinnaker for EAC application deployments across environments.
- Migrate legacy web method codebases to latest Java versions, upgrading Maven, Gradle, and Jenkins configurations, and debugging build failures to ensure stable, production-ready deployments across CCB Rewards Platform service.
- Automate build and deployment pipelines using CI/CD workflows with Jenkins, Maven, and Git, enabling faster delivery cycles, reducing manual intervention, and supporting zero-downtime production releases.
- Develop and monitor cloud-based CCB Rewards Earning Engine applications using AWS CloudWatch, configuring real-time alerts, centralized logging, and proactive performance tuning to ensure platform reliability and observability.
- Develop and validate Rewards backend RESTful APIs using standard HTTP protocols, ensuring accurate offer data processing, request integrity, and reliable backend service communication across distributed CCB platform services.
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs within microservices architecture, implementing Kafka-based event-driven frameworks to ensure secure, reliable, and high-throughput data exchange across CCB platform components.
- Design and implement SQL and NoSQL database queries across PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and Cassandra, optimizing query performance, indexing strategies, and data access patterns for high-volume CCB Rewards transactional workloads.
- Utilize GitHub Copilot and LLM Suite as core daily development tools, leveraging AI-driven code generation, test automation assistance, and intelligent code suggestions to improve delivery velocity and code quality across backend services.
- Manage version control workflows using GitHub, creating and merging pull requests, maintaining branching strategies, and documenting Avro and JSON payload schemas for CCB Rewards Platform event-driven data contracts.
- Develop Unit, Integration, Component, and Contract test cases using JUnit, Mockito, and AFT frameworks, maintaining comprehensive test coverage across Git repositories to ensure application quality and testing efficiency.
- Participate in code review sessions across Dev, UAT, and Performance environments, conducting production code validation for CCB Rewards Earnings Engine backend services to ensure quality and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with Architects, Technical Leads, Scrum Masters, Testers, and Business Analysts to gather requirements, define technical solutions, and drive overall performance and quality improvements across CCB platform applications.
- Work within Agile delivery framework participating in daily standups, grooming sessions, and business requirement discussions to deliver assigned Jira tickets and meet sprint commitments for CCB Rewards Platform development.
