Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during examinations and treatments, ensuring all instruments and materials are prepared and available.
- Provide chairside support to enhance patient comfort and care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with practice protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients, addressing their concerns and providing information about procedures.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and sterile environment.
- Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up communications with patients.
- Utilise IT systems for record keeping, appointment management, and other administrative tasks.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
- Qualified Dental Nurse with relevant certifications.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Proven ability to provide excellent patient care with a compassionate approach.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Familiarity with IT systems used in dental practices is advantageous.
- A proactive attitude towards learning new techniques and procedures.
